Tax his land, tax his bed,
Tax the table at which he's fed.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes are the rule.
Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirt,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco, tax his drink.
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his cigars, tax his beers,
If he cries, then tax his tears.
Tax his car, tax his gas,
Find other ways to tax his a**.
Tax all he has, then let him know
That you won't be done 'till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers,
Tax him some more.
Tax him 'till he's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin, tax his grave.
Tax the sod in which he's laid.
Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom."
When he's gone, do not relax.
It's time to apply the inheritance tax.

2005 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon. ★★★★ I am going to start using my own scale to rate wines. This one is 4 stars out of 5. I must be honest. The previous 8 wines I wrote about were purchased from WineInsiders.com. I believe it was a mistake and I rated the previous wines rather high to make myself feel better for the purchase.
Basically, those wines were crap!
After drinking this wine from J. Lohr I realized the error in my ways. It is true, you often get what you pay for. Today's wine was purchased at a local liquor store for $12.99 retail. It is a $12.99 dollar wine and worth every penny.

2009 Monarch Glen Merlot. My call is 87. This was an enjoyable traditional style. Tasty but nothing to write home about.

2009 La Petite Tour Classic White. My call 88. This is a crisp white wine. Nothing special, but tasty. I paid around $6.00 but feel this is a good value retail at $6.99 to $9.99.
